She was born in Phoenix, Arizona, United States on 24 July 1951 to mother Juana Córdova and father Colby Carter. She has an older brother Vincent Carter and an older sister Pamela Carter. Carter studied at Globe High School in Globe, Arizona, and then she joined Arcadia High School in Phoenix. She also attended Arizona State University.
Carter started dating to film producer Ron Samuels in 1977 and the couple got married on 28 May 1977. The couple divorced in 1982. After that, she began a relationship with the chairman of ZeniMax Media Robert A. Altman in 1984, and the couple tied the knot on 29 January 1984. They have a son James Altman, born on 4 January 1988, and a daughter Jessica Altman, born on 7 October 1990.
The beautiful actress Lynda gained fame for her Diana Prince Wonder Woman’s role in the television series Wonder Woman from 1975 to 1979, and she also famous for won the Miss World USA beauty pageant in 1972. She started her acting career with Helen Chase’s role in the television series Nakia in 1974, and she made debut her career in films with Bobbie Jo Baker’s role in the film Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw in 1976.
