She has four brothers and a sister Josie Ryan. Lawless completed her schooling at Marist College, Mount Albert, and then she joined William Davis Centre in Vancouver.
Lawless started dating Garth Lawless in 1998 and the couple got married in the same year. They have a daughter Daisy Lawless, born on 15 July 1988. The couple divorced in 1995. Later, she began a relationship with film producer Robert Tapert in 1998 and the couple tied the knot on 28 March 1998. She gave birth to their first child with Robert, a son Julius Robert Bay Tapert on 16 October 1999. They welcomed their second child a son Judah Miro Tapert on 7 May 2002.
Lucy is very famous for her Xena’s role in the television series Xena Warrior Princess from 1995 to 2001, and she is also known for Lucretia’s role in the television series Spartacus. She began her acting career with Various’s roles in the television series Funny Business in 1989, and she played Joe’s Girl role in the film The End of the Golden Weather in 1991. She portrayed Countess Marburg’s role in the television series Salem from 2015 to 2017, and she also appeared as Aspen in the film Bedtime Stories in 2008.
