Ileana D’Cruz is an Indian actress, who was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India on 1 November 1987. She is the daughter of mother Samira D’Cruz and father Ronaldo D’Cruz. She has a brother Rhys D’Cruz and two sisters Farrah D’Cruz and Eileen D’Cruz. Ileana completed her schooling at St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School and College, Mapusa, Goa, and then she went to the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.
D’Cruz had been in a relationship with actor Prabhas, and then she started dating Australian photographer Andrew Kneebone.
Ileana began her acting career with Bhanu’s role in the Telugu film Devadasu in 2006 and she played Aarthi’s role in her first Tamil film Kedi in 2006. She gained fame for her Shruti’s role in the film Telugu film Pokiri in 2006, and she is also known for her Shruti Ghosh Sengupta’s role in her debut Hindi film Barfi! in 2012. She also played a memorable role in Telugu films include Jalsa (2008), Kick (2009), and Julayi (2012). D’Cruz also played Ria Santhanam’s role in Tamil superhit film Nanban in 2012, and she also starred in the superhit Hindi movies Main Tera Hero (2014), Rustom (2016), and Raid (2018). She appeared as Sweety Supreet Gill in the film Mubarakan in 2017 and she portrayed Aishwarya Pooja Teresa’s role in the Telugu film Amar Akbar Anthony in 2018.
